This Standard specifies the technical requirements for Customer Equipment (CE), or the parts of the CE that are designed or intended for connection to a DSL service that shares the metallic local loop with an analogue PSTN two-wire service.

Part 1 specifies general technical requirements.
Part 2 specifies the technical requirements for DSL Modems.
Part 3 specifies the technical requirements for xDSL Filters.
